Main Mining Trail

The Main Mining Trail starts from the parking lot at the end of Crișan Street, then turns sharply to the right onto a forest road.

We leave behind the first tourist panel at Mina Boului (Ox Mine), and after 20-30 meters, on the left, we follow the marked path toward the Blue Lake.

From the tourist path, we follow the arrow to the right and the mining symbol markings (yellow mining hammers), which will lead us to four more historic galleries.

We continue on the path marked with mining symbols, which gently winds upwards, and in 15 minutes, we will reach the Blue Lake.

From the Blue Lake, to the left, we follow the yellow markings on a steeper slope until we reach the ruins of the Poni Shaft.

On the marked path, we pass an old mining site and continue the ascent until the first viewpoint.

The steep ascent continues on improvised steps until the summit of Mine Hill (730m), where we can admire a stunning panorama of the surroundings.
