OBJECTIVES:

  • Francisc Shaft
  • Mineral spring (Borcut)

Start from the parking lot at the end of Crișan Street, continue straight ahead on the forest road until you reach a bridge. 

Cross the bridge over Valea Borcutului. 

At the barrier, follow the forest road on the left until you see the arrow towards the Francisc Shaft. Follow the 200-meter level curve on a visible path until you reach the ruins of the Francisc Shaft. 

If you follow the forest road to the right of the sign, you will reach the mineral spring in 5 minutes.

WARNINGS

  • The ruins of the Francisc Shaft are not stabilized, be very cautious of falling rocks

  • The Borcut spring is highly mineralized and drinkable
